Pennsylvania Voter Information

Who should register to vote?

1 - If you have been a citizen for at least a month.

2 - If you will turn 18 years old on or before election day OR just have not voted before.

[Note: Registration is due 30 days prior to the election and registration may be submitted ahead of time.]

3 - If you have changed your name (e.g., by marriage).

4 - If you moved to a new election district and have had residency for at least 30 days.

5 - If your registration has expired (such as from inactive voting).

6 - If you wish to switch your party affiliation.

[Note: Only those in the 2 main parties can vote for a candidate during Primary.]

If you are unable to physically vote on the day of election, you may vote by Absentee Ballot. The deadline for submission of this application is one week before election day. Wait for a ballot to be mailed to you.

How To Get Your Candidate Elected

  • 1 - Sign up to receive their newsletter
  • 2 – Display who and what they stand for on your windshield including their website
  • 3 – Financially donate - it is an investment
  • 4 – Join groups/network for your candidate
  • 5 – Pass campaign fliers introducing your candidate to family, friends and neighbors
  • 6 – Send an email blast to your contacts and tell them who you’re voting for and why
  • 7 - Wear a campaign gear proud and often
  • 8 – Share some of their best videos
  • 9 – Get yourself and fellow supporters lapel pins, bumper stickers and yard signs
  • 10 – Host a meet and greet party for your candidate inviting friends and neighbors
  • 11 – Write letters to the editor and tell them why you like this candidate
  • 12 - Grab some friends and wave signs (good, clear, positive homemade signs are effective) and have fun at it
  • 13 – Vote for them in online polls
  • 14 – Make a video of your support and post it on YouTube.
  • 15 - Last but not least is pray… with your family, if you can.
